I adore the look of old chippy paint combined with hand painted roses. Everytime i see and old piece with old chippy and distressed paint my heart starts to beat a little faster. There is just something about the look that is so appealing and and this piece is no exception. It has the original old chippy and time worn paint in a bluish green color. I have added hand painted roses in shades of pinks and deep berry with greenery to the lid. It is very strong and sturdy with the original latch also. It measures 25 inches long , 13 inches wide and is 10 inches tall. It has been signed, dated and sealed for protection. This is a very old piece with lots of character from years of use and has that wonderful look that is so much a part of todays cottage decor. It is worn to perfection with beautiful hand painted roses gracing the lid.
